Skills for Claude, Cursor, and Codex

MIT prompts that sit next to the MCP server: audit crawler access, find cited-but-not-clicked pages, write the weekly briefing from observed rollups only.

The skill is the instruction. The MCP server is the only source.

An MCP server without opinions will get used to invent a narrative. The skills package is the opinion: read-only tools, observed numbers, the cannot-know list in the same breath as the KPI, no fabricated visitors when the site is quiet.

  • Audit which crawlers reached which paths this week.
  • List pages with high crawl-to-referral gaps.
  • Draft a founder briefing from query_stats, sources, and insights — never from a pasted export.

They are MIT, like the tracker. You can fork the wording. You should not fork the rule that event-level data stays off the wire. Cursor, Claude, and Codex all get the same contract because the server is the contract.

Skills without tools are prose. Tools without skills are a leak waiting for a prompt.
Teach the agent what it is allowed to want. Then give it numbers that cannot exceed that.
